Description

Animation of Uranus and its satellites. Ariel is at the right, more dimmer Umbriel is hardly visible at the top. The animation was compiled from 8 individual images and covers time interval of 50 min (20:55 - 21:45 UT). Each image is a stack of the 4000 best frames, selected from a 10000-frame movie. Vawelet sharpening and brightnes adjustment was made to reveal the faint satellites. The overexposed disk of Uranus was replaced with one of "normal" brightness. The "rings" around the disk are due to glare. The videos were captured under variable transparency what evidently affected contrast of the Uranus belts.

Final size 150%.
